Katmandu

Nepal was my first mountain experience. I stayed in Katmandu and passed on the "trekking" experience everybody seems to come to Nepal for. I have always been more attracted to meeting the people... and taking photographs. Katmandu was a city that truly felt from out of the middle ages. An undisciplined architecture with more temples per capita than pubs in England... Impressive.

The photographs show a different light quality that can only be found in altitude. The people, as usual, are just so photogenic.
